It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Peradeniya Medical School Alumni Association Australasia (PeMSAA Australasia). Since our inception in 2008, PeMSAA Australasia has become a beacon of connection and support for graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, who now reside in Australia and New Zealand.
PeMSAA’s primary purpose has always been to nurture and strengthen the bonds between our alumni, celebrate our shared heritage, and empower our community to contribute meaningfully to the field of healthcare. As the President of PeMSAA Australasia, I am committed to ensuring that this mission extends not only across Australasia but also to the global stage, uniting our alumni network worldwide.
Our association serves as a vital platform to meet and associate with fellow alumni who have made their homes in Australia and New Zealand. Through PeMSAA, you can reconnect with old friends, form new professional relationships, and create a sense of belonging within this vibrant community. This network is here to support you, whether you’re seeking guidance while transitioning to life in Australia, exploring career opportunities, or addressing other professional matters.
We also believe in giving back to the communities that have shaped us. PeMSAA Australasia is deeply committed to supporting healthcare initiatives, funding scholarships, and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. By pooling our collective expertise and resources, we can continue to make an impact both locally and in Sri Lanka, where our journey began.
